The Opportunity
We are looking for Leisure Team Members to join the team the Marine Troon. Reporting into the Spa and Wellness Manager you will be responsible for:
- maintaining and setting up gym equipment
- dealing with any accidents out of the water – for example people slipping on wet surfaces
- cleaning the pool area and facilities such as spa bath, saunas and showers
- monitoring and maintaining the water quality in the pool, and checking equipment such as heating or ventilation units filters and pumps
- supervising changing rooms, keeping them clean and tidy, checking lockers and reporting missing keys
- using a computerised membership and Spa bookings database
- dealing with face to face, telephone and email enquiries
- upsell and promote our memberships
- meet monthly sales targets as outlined by your line manager
- opening and closing procedures of the facilities, as outlined by your line manager.
What are we looking for?
- Pool responder/Lifeguard Qualifications (desirable, training will be provided)
- An understanding and sound knowledge on the health and fitness industry.
- Level 2/level 3 Gym instructor qualification (desirable)
- Pool plant/operation experience (desirable)
